A Billing Nightmare in the Probate Courts
The following documents (included on the record) illustrate the enormous cost that guardianship placed on a ward’s estate and the lack of clear and convincing evidence that these costs truly benefit the ward. An analysis is completed with high level observations and conclusions that will be made to help others understand why we desperately need Probate Reform. Accounting for three pieces of real estate (>$500K) has yet to be demonstrated, and thus is not delineated in the billing analysis.
